Answer: There was huge emigration of Welsh nationals to settle in places like Patagonia and other parts of Argentina generally. Consequently they brought their national sport with them and it caught on in Argentina. Y Wladfa is a Welsh Settlement in Argentina where they speak “Patagonian Welsh.”
