Nigel Farage laughed off suggestions he will get a peerage and join the House of Lords.
Caller Charlie told Farage that while he doesn’t agree with his view he would support him receiving a peerage, to ‘liven’ up the second chamber.
Rumours are swirling that the standing UKIP leader will be granted a peerage, as a number of his prospective successors call for him to enter the Lords.
“I do hope you do get into Lords because I think you're liven the place up even though I disagree with most of what you stand for and it would make politics more interesting,” Charlie said.
Farage replied; “Well Charlie your very sweet and I you know I mean look, yes I'm very passionate in supporting coming out your right and if I was to go to the House of Lords, I'm not going to, but I'd probably liven up the dining room or the bar, if not the chamber itself I would have to say."
