A caller says he felt "misguided" after a close friend was convicted of paedophilia.
A caller who's friend was sentenced to 7 years in prison for being a paedophile said that he "might as well as died".
David told Tom Swarbrick that he learned of his friends' conviction through his brother after trying to reach him.
"I just wanted to understand," he said.
He said that he wouldn't engage in communication, and eventually cut ties.
"You can't associate with anyone who has that kind of conviction.
"That's a red line for me.
"They might as well have died."
David described the moment he learned of his friends' conviction as similar to bereavement with stages of shock, denial and anger.
"I didn't know about it," he said.
"I didn't want to believe it.
"You do question your own judgement; am I that misguided?"
