The Eritrean man kicked off an Easyjet flight because another passenger "didn't feel safe" says it would never have happened if he was white.
Meghary Yemane-Tesfagiorgis spoke to LBC's Shelagh Fogarty about the ordeal that saw him escorted off the plane.
A Londoner of Eritrean descent, he insists that he's "100% sure" the incident was because of his colour.
While police seemed to quickly realise he posed no threat, it still took him 15 hours before he could get another flight home.
Yemane-Tesfagiorgis says it was a tramautic experience - one that was entirely down to the colour of his skin.
"I'm 100% sure that if I was caucausian [it wouldn't have happened]...whether people want to accept this, or say I have a chip on my shoulder, or that I'm playing the race card, so be it.
"I'm 100% sure that that's a fact."
