Remainer Brands Theresa May A “Hero” Over Chequers Brexit Plan

A self-confessed Remainer has branded Theresa May a “hero” over her Brexit proposals agreed at Chequers last week.
Ian heaped praise on the Prime Minister as he described Nigel Farage as “irresponsible” for his criticism.
Mrs May is facing a rebellion over her plan as Tory Eurosceptics launched a formal bid to block it.
Jacob Rees-Mogg and other Tory backbenchers have lodged four amendments to the government’s trade bill.
They claim Number 10 has “broken their trust” and are heading Britain for a so-called soft Brexit.
Furious readers in some newspapers have branded the PM a “traitor” in their letters pages - which was raised on Nigel’s LBC show.
But caller Ian, a Remainer, who “absolutely” wants Brexit scrapped, thought she was a “hero”.
And he ended up in a tetchy clash with Nigel.
