Nigel Farage attempted to get his head around the tongue twister read out in the House of Lords on Wednesday.
A parliamentary clerk relayed a note sent from MPs who had just voted on amendments put forward to the flagship EU Withdrawal Bill.
It read: “My Lords, The Commons agree to certain amendments made by the Lords in lieu of amendments made by the Lords to the European (Withdrawal) Bill to which they disagreed.
“They agree to the amendments made by the Lords to their amendment made in lieu of an amendment made by the Lords, to which they disagreed.
"And they agree to the amendments made by the Lords to their amendments made in lieu of the amendment made by the Lords to which they disagreed, with amendments, to which they desire the agreement of the Lords.”
