MPs have voted to trigger Article 50 and Nigel is thrilled.

Speaking on his LBC show as the final result became clear, Nigel said: "I still think it's absolutely plain wrong for them to be doing it, because they did delegate this decision out to us, but my real final thought is, I think we are a few minutes away from reaching the point of no return.

"And for someone like me who was always considered to be a hopeless case, it's a very happy moment."

MPs have backed the triggering of Article 50 by a majority of 372.
