Official figures show an officer in Britain is under a threat of some form of assault every twenty minutes, often with just pepper spray to defend themselves. Nick Ferrari is asking: Is it time for tasers?

Nick Ferrari has travelled to New York to speak to the police chiefs responsible for halting the sharp rise in violent crime to find out how we can protect our officers and how to stop the knife crime crisis.

In the first week of September, you'll hear a series of reports as Nick went on a taser training course, saw how US police officers are equipped and spoke to US supercop Bill Bratton.
