Pierre Suu was with other photographers in Paris following Diana when she was killed. He recounts what happened on the night and the impact of it 20 years on.
Pierre was working for the Sepa Agency 20 years ago. He was assigned to get pictures of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed on August 31st, 1997, a night that would change countless lives forever.
Pierre had been camped outside the Ritz hotel where Diana and Dodi were dining and when Dodi's car left he and other photographers followed it.
However, this car, which drove to Dodi's apartment was a decoy.
The pair had slipped out the back of the hotel into a different car, evading the pack.
When he realised what had happened Pierre spoke to his colleague. This photographer was in the tunnel where the car they were actually travelling crashed.
Pierre rushed to the scene and arrived around 40 minutes after the crash.
In an extended interview with LBC, Pierre goes into detail about how the night unfolded and how that fateful night still affects him.
