Peter Hitchens Destroys May's Military Backing In 20 Seconds

Theresa May insists that she wants the Armed Forces to know she's fully behind them - but Peter Hitchens is not convinced.
Speaking on Nick Ferrari On LBC, Peter took just 20 seconds to dismantle the Prime Minister's claim.
He said: "She comes from the Tory tradition of human rights and equality. It doesn't come very convincingly to me, her now saying all these things are so bad.
"It's always been this way since Rudyard Kipling that everyone's terribly keen on soldiers when they're fighting and not half so keen on soldiers the rest of the time. And
I don't know whether if I were in the military, I would be absolutely wholly confident that this government was behind me. After all, this is the Tory Party which has slashed all the armed forces to the most miserable stage in modern history.
