Nicky Morgan adds her voice to the chorus of senior Tories calling for Theresa May to drop the supreme court challenge to a Brexit vote in parliament.
Talking to LBC’s Matt Frei she said that it would be right for May to drop the supreme court appeal at the high courts decision to allow MPS a vote on triggering article 50.
"I think it would be a good idea to abandon the appeal in the supreme court and they got on with short act of parliament, so that parliament can get on with saying yes to government, triggering article 50."
"Then we can get get on with negotiating the terms on which we are going to leave and the term of which we are going to continue to have a relationship with the EU going forward."
