The time to laugh at Donald Trump's political success is over, argues James O'Brien, it's time to get a bit scared.
Reacting to another Trump victory in the race to be Republican candidate for the White House, James was particularly struck by a new poll result: 20% of the tycoon's supporters consider the freeing of slaves in the US a mistake.
"I think the time for pantomime is probably over," said James in his show opener. "Donald Trump is looking unstoppable."
On the slavery point, James shared his concern: "It is very much that flavour that seems to define Donald Trump. That howl of outrage and frustration that is not particularly articulate but is incredibly emotional.
"I'm beginning to get a little bit scared," admitted the LBC presenter.
