James Asks: Why Do We Only Remember Madeleine McCann?

In the ten years since Madeleine McCann went missing, dozens of other children have also disappeared. Why don’t we remember their names?
“How many children, still missing, who have disappeared in the last decade can you name? I think off the top of my head I can only name one, and it’s obviously her.
“Why?”
“It doesn’t make sense anymore that this particular case demands so much attention, so much resource and so much man power.” James said
On the tenth anniversary of her disappearance, with more than £12m spent on the search for her, James questioned why we have been so obsessed with this one case.
Ideally every missing child would receive the same attention and resource, but it’s sadly not possible
