James opened his discussion of the US Presidential race with a rip-roaring rant aimed at Trump and his fans: "If you are one of these chomping chugnuts who absolutely buys into the notion that Donald Trump is anything other than a sociopathic sex pest, lucky enough to inherit a serious amount of money...my God I pity you.
"If you are screaming at the radio that it's all a mainstream media conspiracy...all that nonsense...then you need to tell me how you've ended up cheering for a sex pest.
"Because I'm pretty sure you didn't think you were ever going to be that person. The person who cheers for a man who talks about his sexual ambitions regarding a 10-year-old girl.
"If you were under any illusions whatsoever about how Jimmy Savile got to molest and rape and abuse and assault women, men, boys, girls on an industrial scale for decades...go and talk today to a Trump supporter.
"Go and talk right now to a Trump apologist. Go and read the defenders of Donald Trump.
"That, right there, is precisely how Jimmy Savile got to ruin thousands of young lives, while the people around him did nothing.
