20-Year-Old: Election Is A Chance to "Stop Brexit Happening"

This passionate student says the snap election is "an amazing opportunity" for his generation to stop Brexit - if he wasn't already so stressed just thinking about it!
Aaron's a student in Sheffield who called Iain to confess that the vote in June - announced by PM Theresa May just six hours earlier - was a chance for him and fellow young Remainers to block Brexit.
"Any chance to stop Brexit happening is a chance that I will take.
"This is an amazing opportunity that I will take."
But despite that certainty, Aaron wasn't sure he could bring himself to vote for the Lib Dems, still upset at them for "lying to my generation" over tuition fees.
"I'm doing a five year course...it's put a really dark line on me and what I think politically."
So would he vote for Labour?
"Jeremy Corbyn...is not making a big opposition when it comes to Brexit. There's no opposition, there's no scrutinising, there's nothing."
So who would Aaron vote for?
"From a personal level, it's stressing me out!"
"It's only day one!" Iain reminded him.
Aaron summed the state of British politics for lots of young people when he said this: "I don't know what my future's going to be like for the next 50 years!"
Luckily for him, Iain decided to end the call on an encouraging note: telling that if he feels this passionately about politics, he should get involved.
