Lib Dem Ed Davey's Very Fiery Clash With Iain Over Brexit Negotiations

Former Liberal Democrat minister Sir Ed Davey clashed with Iain Dale during a very heated exchanged over Britain’s Brexit position.
Sir Ed rubbished Theresa May’s argument that her negotiating hand with the EU would be strengthened in the event of a Conservative win at the General Election.
The former energy secretary added: “Whether Mrs May has a majority of 10 or 100 that doesn't change the dynamics the negotiation, it's one versus 27”.
Iain argued that in the event the Prime Minister secured a “whopping majority”, she would have much more influence during the two-year negotiating period.
The LBC presenter said it would be similar to the Lib Dems having more influence in the House of Commons if they managed to increase the number of their MPs.
Sir Ed, however, wasn’t having any of it.
He hit back: “Your analogy is nonsense… I’m sorry Iain you’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong!
“Iain I’ve done both, you’ve done neither… The way a negotiation works the international level is not the same it works in Parliament.”
