Too many of the tributes to Martin McGuinness have whitewashed his IRA past, says a passionate Iain Dale.
"I can't mourn Martin McGuinness," said the LBC presenter, "But I can mourn all of the people who fell victim to his acts of terror over two decades.
"He was an IRA commander...and I could even bring myself to forgive him for a lot of that if he had actually acknowledged what he had done while he lived.
"But instead he's taken the coward's way out: he's taken all of his secrets to the grave."
Iain continued by picking out some of the reflections on McGuinness's death that most struck him, including this tweet from Jon Snow:
A great loss; an extraordinary life that culminated in great service https://t.co/GVnQBITCXX
