Iain Dale Explains Why Ukip Is "Imploding"

In the wake of Brexit and Nigel Farage stepping down, Iain Dale says Ukip are "imploding".
Today the final leadership candidate list for Ukip was announced, with leading contender Steven Woolfe off the list because he was late filing documents.
That's led to claims of a "coup" within the party, with some of its most prominent supporters furious at how the race to replace Nigel Farage has been handled.
Iain spoke about the state of the party, which celebrated its greatest success recently with the EU Referendum result - but has since been plunged into what the LBC presenter calls an "implosion".
He said: "There will be many Ukip supporters who say that's just not true.
"Let's look at the evidence, shall we?
"First of all, they banned Suzanne Evans...she's credible with the electorate. You would have thought they might actually want her to stand for the leadership.
"No, they banned her from being even a member of the party.
"Today another leadership hopeful Steven Woolfe has been ruled ineligible to stand in the contest to replace Nigel Farage after he submitted his papers 17 minutes late."
Iain then read the list of final candidates and said: "I've only heard of one of them."
