"Hogwash": Iain Dale On Why Emma Thompson Is Wrong About EU

As Emma Thompson wades into the EU debate, Iain Dale has a very straightforward take on what she's said: "Hogwash!"
The Love Actually and Saving Mr Banks star was speaking at the Berlin Film Festival when she said a vote for an exit of the European Union was a "crazy idea".
She described living in "a tiny little cloud-bolted, rainy corner of sort-of Europe ... a cake-filled misery-laden grey old island".
"Of course I'm going to vote to stay in Europe. Are you kidding? Oh my God, of course. It would be madness not to. It's a crazy idea not to. We should be taking down borders, not putting them up."
Iain's reaction to the comments? Not terribly impressed!
