Iain Explodes With Laughter At Pro-Trump Caller

Somehow Ron manages to be a Donald Trump fan who's both pro-Russia and anti-America - and the more Ron digs, the more fun Iain Dale has with him.

The topic at hand? Syria and the involvement of various international powers there.

Ron called up with some strident views to share: "America have got no right to be there. They've got no respect for borders, they've got no respect for international law."

"No," said Iain. "They've no right to be there, in your view, because you hate America!"

Ron insisted he doesn't hate America, before clarifying that he "despises the American political and military system...the most dangerous, unbalanced force on the planet...they're a danger for everybody.

"And they're just about to vote in that lunatic Clinton who is going to take us to the brink."

The LBC presenter asked if Ron would rather they voted for Trump. Ron answered without even thinking: "Absolutely."

Iain roared with laughter at that one before explaining just why he was finding Ron's call so entertaining: "I can't argue with somebody who has spent five minutes ranting about how wonderful Russia is and how terrible America is and then says they'd support Donald Trump.

"How can I take you seriously?!"
