Andrew Pierce Shuts Down Caller Who Says Brexiteers Are Mostly Racist

Andrew Pierce challenged a caller who claimed that people who voted to leave are "mostly racists" or were "led by racists".

Rashid believes that "most people" who voted to leave the European Union are "either racist" or "led by racists".

But Andrew Pierce challenged him for what he called an "inflammatory" comment.

"C'mon, you can't say that," Andrew said.

"It's a very inflammatory statement to say that 17.4 million people are mostly racist or led by racists.

"I'm one of those, Rashid, and I'm not racist and I was not led by racists."

But the caller responded by calling the LBC presenter an "odd exception".

"You are being incredibly offensive and patronising," Andrew said.

"I think you're being deeply offensive and patronising."
