Why Castle Backs Taking In Kids Of Calais

Andrew Castle says he is no hand wringing liberal - he supports the UK taking in the kids from the Calais 'Jungle' for this very simple reason.
Talking on his LBC show he explains why he wants us to fulfil our moral obligations and take in the kids who are trapped in the camp in Calais.
“Thirteen and fourteen year old girls arriving, as they have done overnight. No relatives in the U.K. but we're taken them because we have a moral responsibility to do so and a legal obligation under the Dubs amendment to the immigration bill but it's a what if that's the sort of welcome they are going to receive."
”Look I'm not just being a sort of liberal lefty on this whole thing you know and I don't do that on these sorts of subjects and I'm as worried as anybody else about a full and total influx, especially from a different culture which changes our social fabric and puts pressure on our public services.”
“But I can't look into the eyes of thirteen or a fourteen year old girl who could end up in the hands of people who mean her harm in every way imaginable and then say no you can come over here. I can't do that.”
