Watch: Thieves Ram-Raid Supermarket With Digger And Steal Cash Machine

A gang of brazen robbers have been caught on CCTV using a digger to ram-raid a supermarket before making off with a cash machine.

The dramatic footage has been released by police as they attempt to trace the thieves following the incident at the Nisa store in Hatton, Derbyshire on August 3.

It shows the men arriving in a 4x4 towing a digger-type machine.

They can been seen using the digger to smash into the shop before dragging the ATM from the wall.

Police were immediately dispatched to the scene, but one thief threw a mental bar at one officer before the group made off.

No arrests have yet been made.
