Tim Farron was the leader of the Liberal Democrats between 2015 and 2017.
He has been the Member of Parliament for Westmorland and Lonsdale since 2005 and was the President of the Liberal Democrats from 2011 to 2015. He beat Norman Lamb in the Lib Dem leadership contest following Nick Clegg's resignation, but resigned following the 2017 General Election.
