Woman, 21, injured as she is 'thrown 10-15 feet' from Hull fairground ride

A teenage boy has been hit by a woman as she plummeted from a fairground ride in Hull.
The 21-year-old suffered injuries to her face, abdomen and leg after falling around 10-15 feet from one ride onto the base of a nearby ride.
Police have confirmed her injuries are not life-changing and she is expected to recover.
The teenager, who was on the ground, suffered minor injuries to his foot.
One said: "It’s been shut and the emergency services are there. There is a lot of blood. It doesn’t look good."

An investigation has been launched to determine what happened.
Chief Inspector Paul Kirby, Tactical Commander for Hull Fair said: “A woman has sadly been seriously injured this evening at Hull Fair and taken to hospital by ambulance.
“We do not believe her injuries are life threatening or life changing.
“A teenage boy was struck by the woman as she fell. He thankfully only sustained minor injuries.
“We have very well established plans in place with the council for any incident like this at the fair, and I want to thank everyone for their patience while we deal with this.
“I am appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened, or who has any video footage of it to contact us.
