'Tube Pusher' shoves man onto the tracks at Stockwell station
5 September 2019, 12:27
Police have released shocking footage of a man being punched and pushed onto the tracks at a south London tube station.
Police are hunting for a suspect after the victim was pushed onto the tracks by a fellow passenger at Stockwell station.
The incident occurred at around 2.30am on Sunday 30 June.
The victim was attacked following a short conversation on the platform with his assailant.
He was punched from behind before being shoved onto the tracks.
A fellow passer-by managed to help him up from the tracks after the attacker ran from the scene.
The attack comes just months after Paul Crossley was sentenced to life in prison for pushing a 91 year old man onto the tube tracks at Marble Arch station.
Crossley pushed former Eurotunnel boss Sir Robert Malpas "deliberately" because he "looked odd" and "unlikely to withstand the attack".
