Man fighting for life after being stabbed in Queensbury

A man in his twenties is in a critical condition and has been airlifted to hospital following a stabbing in north-west London.
The man was found at 6:30pm after being stabbed in Eton Grove Open Space in Queensbury, Metropolitan Police have confirmed.
An air ambulance helicopter landed in the park to rush him away to East London hospital for treatment and several police cars and ambulances were also at the scene.
He is said to be fighting for his life, with his next of kin being informed.
A crime scene remains in place and police have been granted additional stop and search powers until midnight in Queensbury and Kenton.
The park is located in the Brent part of Queensbury, just south of the station and west of the Morrisons supermarket.
No arrests have been yet been made.
A Met Police statement said: "Police were called at approximately 6.30pm on Wednesday, September 18, to reports of a man stabbed in Eton Grove open space, Queensbury.
"Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and the man, believed aged in his 20s, was air lifted to an east London hospital for treatment; he remains there in a critical condition.
"Next of kin have been informed. Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
