Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran team up for hilarious World Mental Health Day video
10 October 2019, 09:46
Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran have appeared in a video encouraging people to talk about their problems on World Mental Health Day.
The film shows the popstar having his beard trimmed before visiting the Duke of Sussex, where Ed jokes about being ginger.
He says he wants to “write a song to raise awareness” but thought the Prince was talking about his hair colour, rather than mental illness.
The clip ends with Prince Harry encouraging viewers to “reach out” to “anybody that might be suffering in silence.
He explains: “For me, this is a subject of a conversation that’s not talked about enough. I think people all over the world are really suffering.”
At the end of the video, Prince Harry adds: “This World Mental Health Day, reach out, make sure that your friends, stranger, look out for anybody that might be suffering in silence.
“We’re all in this together.”
The video had been viewed more than half a million times in the first hour, with fans praising the pair for a “fantastic video for a brilliant cause.”
