Police investigating two shootings in Haringey in the space of 12 hours

A woman is in a critical condition after being shot in Wood Green on Tuesday night less than 12 hours after a man was injured yesterday morning in Tottenham.
Officers were called at around just before 10pm on Tuesday, to reports of a shooting in Lordship Lane near Wood Green High Road.
Police and London Ambulance Service staff rushed to the scene.
A short time later, a 46-year-old woman and a 31-year-old presented themselves at a hospital. The woman has been shot and her condition is described as "critical."
A Met Police spokesperson said: "The condition of the 31-year-old man is not life-threatening or life-changing. He is thought to have sustained a minor gunshot injury."
Twelve hours earlier officers were called to reports of a separate shooting on Lansdowne Road where a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The two attacks are not believed to be linked.
Detectives have appealed for help following the shooting in Tottenham.
Scotland Yard was called just before 9:30 am on Tuesday 17 September, after a man was found suffering gunshot injuries.
Officers attended a residential block in Lansdowne Road, along with the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance.
The victim was rushed to an east London hospital where his condition is critical but stable.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity.

A crime scene is in place while specialist forensic officers continue to work at the scene
Officers have said at this early stage there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: "Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call 101 ref CAD 1827/17 Sept."
