Man dies in southeast London amid a spate of stabbings in the capital

Seven people have been stabbed, one fatally, in the space of 48 hours in Tottenham, Bexley, Whitechapel and Shepherd's Bush in London over the weekend.
The latest incident involved a teenage boy and a man that were were both stabbed in separate incidents in Tottenham, north London, on Sunday night.
Both victims were taken to hospital but their conditions are not known, police have said.
A section 60 order has been put in place, meaning officers will be allowed to use stop and search powers until 1pm on Monday.
A section 60 has been put in place until 13.00hrs on Monday, 14 October for the N8 Turnpike Lane area, N15, N17 and N22 following two stabbings in the N15 area. Crime scenes are in place in Herbert Road and Sycamore Gardens. We await an update on the condition of the victims.

On Sunday afternoon a 20-year old man was stabbed to death after reports of a fight in a street in Bexley.
He was taken to an east London hospital where he died later.
A 17-year-old has since been arrested and remains in custody.
Police forensics officers were at the scene and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

Just a few hours earlier on Sunday morning, two men were stabbed outside a butchers shop in Tottenham.
The men, aged 40 and 29, were found with knife wounds outside West Green Halal Meat and Groceries store.
Police have said their injuries are not life-threatening.
A third man was also assaulted in the incident and no arrests have yet been made.
Meanwhile a 34-year-old man remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed in Turner Street, Whitechapel, east London on Saturday afternoon.
Two men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and were taken into custody.
In a separate incident a few hours later, a man thought to be in his early 20s was stabbed several times at Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush on Saturday evening.
His injuries are not life-threatening, police have said.
A police cordon was in place both inside and outside of the shopping centre following the attack shortly after 7pm.

Last year the number of murders in London hit 132 - putting 2018 at the highest level for murders in the capital for a decade.
The number of violent deaths in London in 2019 reached 100 at the start of September.
