M4 'incident': Police appeal for witnesses after man killed on motorway

A man has died following a "police incident" on the M4 near Swansea.
The motorway is closed in both directions between junction 44 Lon Las and junction 45 Ynysforgan.
South Wale Police is urging drivers to avoid the area and to use alternative routes.
The force wrote in a statement online: "The incident on the M4 between J45 to J44 is still ongoing – we can confirm one man has died.
"The westbound carriageway has been reopened. Eastbound remains closed. We ask traffic to continue to avoid the area.
"Anyone who may have witnessed this incident should contact 101, quoting occurrence 1900355050."
