Lewes Castle: Medieval wall collapses onto nearby house

Emergency services are searching the scene of a medieval wall collapse in Lewes, East Sussex.
Fire and Rescue services were called to Lewes Castle shortly after midday after an estimated 500 tons of flint collapsed onto nearby buildings.
Sniffer dogs ave been deployed in Castle Ditch Lane, a narrow, street running directly next to the castle.
Some reports have suggested The Old Coach House is among the buildings which have been hit.
The fire service has also requested a drone to fly over the area.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have said there are no reports of any missing persons or casualties.
They also confirmed the collapse is not part of the 11th century main castle.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Police are responding to a report of part of Lewes Castle collapsing onto buildings in Castle Ditch Lane, Lewes.
"Fire service colleagues requested the assistance of search dogs and a drone having been alerted at 12.22pm.
"It is not known at this time if anyone is trapped as a result."
