Carrie Symonds blasts report about rehoming dog Dilyn as ’total c**p’

Carrie Symonds has strongly dismissed claims she and Boris Johnson were planning on rehoming their dog Dilyn before they have their first baby.
The Times newspaper reported Downing Street dog Dilyn was at risk of a "reshuffle" citing a source who claimed the mess that dog created in their apartment above No 11 was a bone of contention.
But the PM's fiancee has hit back at the claims the dog could be quietly rehomed before the couple have their first child in early summer, calling them "total crap."
Dilyn was rescued by Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds in September last year and brought to Downing Street from the Friends of Animals Wales in Rhondda, Wales.

The adoption of the pet came months before the announcement of their engagement and Ms Symond's pregnancy.
At the time, a spokesman for No 10 said: “The prime minister has always been a passionate supporter of animal welfare and believes in giving animals the best start in life.”

But Ms Symonds strongly dismissed the newspaper's claims on social media.
On Wednesday she tweeted: "What a load of total crap! There has never been a happier, healthier and more loved dog than our Dilyn. 100% bs. The people behind this story should be ashamed of themselves."
A spoof Twitter account set up in the dog's name has more than 4,500 followers.
