Police Show LBC Why Stop And Search Powers Are Needed

LBC has been out with the Met Police on an intelligence-led stop and search operation - and the results were dramatic.
LBC reporter Vincent Mcaviney watched as officers stopped a number of young black and asian men over the course of an hour.
Scotland Yard says stop and search is needed to stop stabbings and acid attacks which are on the rise in the capital.
During the exercise, plain clothed officers watched the behaviour of people when they spotted their uniformed counterparts.
On one occasion officers noticed a group who were acting suspiciously.
