Man Arrested After 92-Year-Old Woman Violently Mugged In Hackney

A man has been arrested after a 92-year-old woman was mugged and assaulted in Hackney, police say.
Sanchez Edwards, 28, was detained in Mile End at around lunchtime today (Monday) after detectives released a number of appeals.
The Met says he is being held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and robbery.
He is currently in custody at an east London police station.
