The British Transport Police are looking for a woman who threatened to pull a knife on a mum with a baby on the Central Line.

UPDATE: 21-year-old Millicent Barnes has been charged with a public order offence over the incident.

------

Shortly before 6pm on 18th July, a woman with her baby in a pram got on the westbound tube at Bank station.

As they boarded the packed train, the young child accidentally kicked another woman who was also boarding.

This woman immediately became abusive to the mother, demanding the mother should apologise in an aggressive and threatening manner, police said.

Other passengers intervened to calm the situation, however the woman then intimated that she had a knife in her bag.

At the next station, the aggression was spotted by a member of staff, who quickly got the mother away from the carriage.

Police released an image of the woman they want to speak to over the incident.
