Police have released CCTV images of a woman they want to talk to after a WH Smith employee was racially abused during an altercation over change of a £50 note.
The incident began when the woman tried to pay for items in Victoria Station's WH Smith with a £50 note on the afternoon of Sunday, 2nd April.
The man behind the cash till told her he didn’t have enough change to accept the note, at which point she became remarkably agitated.
Threatening to punch him in the face, she also began to racially abuse him. She left the shop a number of times - only to return and continue the barrage of abuse she was aiming at the worker.
The BTP want to speak to the woman shown in the CCTV images here, saying she could have information that would help with the investigation.
