WATCH: Gove Grilled Over "Expert" Attacks

Leave's Michael Gove is forced to defend his attacks on "experts" under some tough questions from Iain Dale.
"Tell me why the experts are all wrong and that you and Boris Johnson know more about economics than the IFS or goodness knows who else," said Iain, during an extended interview with the senior Tory MP.
"When it comes to economic forecasters, I don't think [they] have a perfect record of prediction. People make the...casual acquaintance between expertise in economic forecasting and expertise in flying an aircraft.
"Now pilots have a 100% record, pretty much, in getting people from A to B safely.
"Economic forecasters do not have a 100% record in getting things right. You can count on the fingers of one hand the number of economic forecasters who predicted the 2008 global crash," said Gove.
Iain Dale then posed a question based on former England captain David Beckham coming out for Remain today: "But if we're not supposed to listen to experts and we're not supposed to listen to David Beckham, who are we supposed to listen to - apart from you?"
"It's the arguments, I think, that count," responded Gove.
"My judgment about endorsements is: is the argument being made a persuasive one?"
