Police investigating after man found dead in road in Wimbledon

Police have closed a major road in Wimbledon after officers discovered a body in the street.
Detectives from the Met Police Roads and Transport Police Command are investigating after a body was found on Durnsford Road, SW19.
Scotland Yard said they were called just before 6:00 am and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Durnsford Road is closed, with the Met saying the closure is from Plough Lane to Penwith Road. This includes the side roads onto Durnsford Road.
Officers warned the road closures will be in place "for quite a few hours."
