Met officer injured in hit-and-run during police stop in north London

A Met officer has been injured in a hit-and-run following an attempted police stop of a vehicle in north London.
At 11.32am today, police stopped a vehicle on White Hart Lane in Tottenham.
Scotland Yard said the car stopped before driving off "at speed, hitting the officer.

BREAKING: A Police officer has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in #Totteham, north-London.
The suspect vehicle initially stopped for Police however it then drove off at speed striking the officer on White Hart Lane.

Scotland Yard said he had been injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said he was not in a life-threatening condition.
The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended.
Police are hunting suspects and the vehicle that was involved.
There have been no arrests, Scotland Yard said.
