One man has died and a second has been left with "potentially life-changing facial injuries" following a double stabbing in Coventry.
West Midlands Police confirmed officers were called to Newcombe Road just before 2pm on Saturday after reports of two men with serious stab wounds at a residential address.
A man in his 50s was confirmed dead at the scene, with a second man, also in his 50s, found with "potentially life-changing facial injuries" and was later taken to hospital.
The force said a 51-year-old man from the city has since been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
A scene is still in place as forensic examinations and other enquiries are carried out.

It comes as a thief has been jailed for life after murdering a "hard-working" Amazon delivery driver who was trying to stop his van from being stolen in Leeds.
Mark Ross will serve a minimum term of 30 years after killing Claudiu Carol Kondor, 42, who was clinging onto the van.
Ross had climbed in while Mr Kondor was out delivering a parcel, deliberately crashed into a stationary Mini to knock him from the vehicle.
